This Morning Routine Will Improve Your Mood

It is all about changing your state.

Be grateful the moment you wake up that you have been blessed with another day on Earth. Hit the snooze button once and use it as a time to check in with yourself, pray, meditate, or whatever way you like to be intentional about your purpose that day.

Make your bed as soon as you get up just because it feels good to do so. It may be the one thing that day you know you can do right no matter what. Make some French Press coffee or your favorite tea and drink a giant class of water with hydration/electrolytes in it.

Get your move on for at least 30 minutes preferably an hour- walk the dog, do some yoga, head to the gym or outside for a run. Make it one of your top priorities to break a sweat at least 5 days a week. Our lifestyles are way too sedentary to pass this up. It will clear your mind, get your endorphins pumping, and will help your overall health exponentially. Stop making excuses and start making the time!

By now you’ll need to have a light healthy breakfast with lots of fluids. Take a shower and off you go to work/school refreshed and ready for an awesome day. Listen to a book on tape, your favorite play list/podcast, or catch up with a friend on the way there so you can get jazzed up for the day.
